The other day I was thinking about how much I love my Ergo.
I wasn’t even using it at the time! I mean, I was just sitting around doing whatever and I thought, “man, I love my Ergo. I am so glad I have one of those to carry my babies around.”
It got me thinking; if I felt so strongly about a baby product, that I would think loving about it…randomly…it must be a must-have product for me. What would my other must-haves be? That thing that I tell moms…you HAVE to get this.
I’ve written a full list of my favorite products and I even filmed a quick video on some of my other last minute favorites.
But if it came down to it, if I had to tell you my 3 FAVORITE products…..

1. The Ergo baby carrier- I find this carrier SO comfortable and easy to use. Both my kids loved to ride in it and I loved having them so close. But it is so much easier than carrying them! You can use it front and one your back. I can still carry my almost 4-year-old on my back in it (not that I do that very often!) The only down side is the baby can’t face forward, but my kids never seemed to mind. Ergo Baby Carrier Black with Camel Lining

2. Brest Friend Nursing Pillow- Having a baby (and pregnancy for that matter) wreaks havoc on your back. And one of the biggest culprits is breast-feeding in a slouched position. In fact, that slouched position is not only bad for your back, but can actually be bad for your healing abdominal wall too (more on that in a later post). In the hospital, the lactation consultant told me, bring the baby to your breast, not your breast to the baby. A nursing pillow is the easiest way to do this and I found that the Brest Friend was the easiest nursing pillow to use. I loved that is buckled around me. So not only, could I nurse the baby in a more comfortable position, but if I needed to get up (like to get a burb cloth or the TV remote), I didn’t have to readjust the pillow when I sat back down. And if the baby fell asleep, I could stand up and put him or her in the crib without fumbling with the pillow first. My Brest Friend Pillow, Sunburst![]()

3. Velcro Swaddle Blankets- I’ll admit, my #3 must-have was a toss up between Velcro swaddle blankets and a vibrating baby chair, but the swaddle blanket just edged it out for the top 3 spot. The nurses in the hospital can get that baby wrapped up like a sleepy burrito in two seconds flat, and Houdini couldn’t get out. But get that baby home and no blanket seems to contain flailing arms. Enter the Velcro swaddle blanket. It doesn’t matter if it is 3 in the morning and you are bleary eyed and half asleep, you can get that little bug all bundled back up and everyone can get back to sleep. Notice the picture above is the hospital swaddle…I have no pics of my kids at home swaddled…’cuz they were asleep

Mary - I also love the SwaddleMe blanket. It’s easy to use and effective. My husband love it because he is not a natural swaddler.
Megan - I love any product that makes my (or my husband’s) life easier! We have quite a few of these blankets as well! They are great! Thanks for commenting!
mary - My husband is all for short cuts and easy as well. He even prefers to buy the pre-made liquid baby formulas for our 6 month old son.
